Swapable??

ok..the BP-ZE is internally identical enough to the 1994-97 1.8L Miata engines, and I believe the internals (connecting rods, pistons, etc.) are swappable.

Also the BP-ZET is pretty much identical internally to the BP-ZE minus the turbo and manifolds blah blah but all that stuff is outside anyways.

SO.

Does that mean engine internals for the 94-97 1.8L DOHC Miata engine are swappable into the BP-ZET engine?

First I must say I've never heard (that I can rememeber) of a BP-ZE or BP-ZET... Heard of plain ol' BP and BPT.

My guess would be that the blocks are the same, but the turbo engine would have lower compression pistons. Don't take my word for it.
