If I had the money I would but it now... does anyone know where else I can get these..

SgtRauksauff August-7th-2003 11:01 AM

Not necessarily. Say, I own an engine shop, and do really good work there, and I've got a close friend that is finally getting into a project that I kind of like too. It's just some extra after-work time for me, and if i just charge him for materials, or say, a round $100 bucks, he can get his work done in my shop. Plus, when he tells all his friends about it, I can charge them my regular prices, or only slightly discounted prices, for knowing him, if there's enough demand for the same kind of work.

I don't own an engine shop, but I sure wish I had a buddy who owned one. :)

would you have to get a stand alone fuel system for that.

It depends on what you want to do. Running a stand alone would be the best, you would get the most power out of it. But if you look at that ebay ad they sell a carbon fiber plenum, which means you could still run the VAF. But thats pretty much pointless.

The gains you would see on this manifold would likely be in the top end.. with the sacrifice of low end while your at it.. If your gonna make a all motor monster you might wanna consider this otherwise i would say save your money.

if u like that intake, try goin to www.twminduction.com

not sure if they make intakes for our cars, but they will if u ask them to im sure... only thing is, the ones for a honda b18 cost almost $2600, so it will prolly be a comaprable price for us... along with almost CERTAINLY having to be run wit a haltech, tec iii, etc...
