Question Other VAF/MAF's?

Has anyone tried any other VAF or MAF sensors (other than the RX7)? The type of VAF we have, with the "trap door" isn't anywhere near as accurate as a "hotwire"-style MAF.

Are there any wiring diagrams for the VAF, so that one could see what wire does what, and if I could find the MAF maps for a different MAF then maybe we could find a "hotwire" type MAF that would work effectively.

ive heard rumors of the newer 1.8L Pro's (99-up) MAF being able to be rewired to work on the 1st gen Pro/323, but this is strictly rumors i believe.

there is a way to do it, but its expensive...using a haltech you can use a "hotwire" design MAF, along with MANY other things!!
