in canada theres a shop that does the swap with a kl-ze engine for 2500-3000, the kl-ze is the most power v6 of the k-series with 200hp and 197ft of torque

its the japanese dohc engine which comes turbocharged, very fast, its the swap most everyone does on there proteges

Did u try looking for a egt dohc or a mercury ltz motor? they are all the same 1.8 dohc 16 valve mazda engines

ya i saw the tracer around but they don:t seem to have that much power. thanks how much work do i have to do to put it in do i have to change anything for it to work

What model protege do u have? the LTZ tracer with the mazda motor is just as fast as the lx protege
