Ok, so I am very frustrated. I have a 2008 Mazda 3 2.3L Hatch and it has 111,xxx miles. This isn't that many, right? Shouldn't be the area of transmission problems. The code is P0767 and the shift solenoid d is stuck on. Here are a list of all the problems. There are two different groups of problems.

1) (All happen all at once)
a) 2nd to 3rd gear it goes up to revs and then the revs quickly go up 1000 then shift
b) downshifting to second creates a very big jerk and transmission sounds like it's breaking
c) shifts into reverse but acts like park

2) (Also all happens at same time)
a) only 1st and 3rd gear are available
b) gets stuck in 3rd gear no matter how fast I go. It was at 4250 rpm at 60 mph today on the way to school. Very loud, very bad gas mileage, annoying.
c) skips from 1st to 3rd gear and makes very screechy noise.

I am just very frustrated. I want to replace the shift solenoid but it doesn't seem like this could cause all of it. Also do not want to do all the work and none of it be fixed. Opinions, tips, etc.
