as far as how, you should consider ripping it out if you have to ask us how (i wouldn't take upon this myself). is there a difference?? i really don't know, just a common thing to do if you're going with a turbo setup... and removing it would lighten your load a little bit. aside from that, good luck.
peace

Yes there should be a difference its a old school trick But pending where you live..sorry i didnt look...it might not be worth it down here in New Mexico you would have to be insane to go without air and I know my ranger I just bought is air less and that sucks..

you'd lose power steering, too.

ehh, who needs power steering..lol. I drove a CRX w/o p/s not too bad. I guess it would free up a lil more power and strain less on the engine then.

A rack and pinion made for power steering hasn't the same gear then a non assisted it's going to be harder to turn. Just buy a belt for power steering without the a/c. If you remove everything just make shure you go to a mechanic before to remove the freon that's in the system.

Where would I put the rest of the belt? It cant jst wrap around the p/s pulley?? Or is it connected to the crank also?? Do you happen to know a part # for that belt?
