aftermarket parts for '90 protege SE

does anyone know where I can find aftermarket parts to beef up my '90 protege se? Maybe a turbo kit or a supercharger or something with decent hp gains. Any help is very appreciated. Thanks

To my knowledge everything in Canada except the GTX has the SOHC ... i know the DX an LX share the same engine.. and arent the SE's the same as the LX?:dunno:

SE is the 1990 equivalent of DX, they were renamed to DX after that.

Canada did not get a Protege GTX

What's the GTAe?

BoostedPro August-14th-2003 10:01 PM

A GTAe was a Protege that didn't have all the electrical goodies like power windows, door locks, etc. and had a GTR motor.

well seeing as its an sohc, you dont have much to do under the hood, no turbos or blowers or anything like that

altho protoss is supposedly going to attempt to make a turbo header for the sohc and may do a group buy if its successfull

other than that, cold air, bigger exhast piping, advanced timing, that bout all i can think of right now, if you want mad fast do a swap
