No Spark?...help!

I need help trying to figure out why my 1990 protege DOHC wont get any spark? I went to the junk yard yesterday and bought a coil. The car started right up! So then I drove it around all day and then this morning I tried to start it up and again I have no spark! Any suggestions? Maybe the ignition modual? or the Distributor?
Any Help would be great!

Hello
Just went through a similar problem with my'86, we replaced the distributor and the coil which didn't solve the problem (though it could have). The starter motor was the culprit, car is OK now.

Sincerely,

Graham Hill
