Question about FiBre

 My question is  :

Does anyone know about the durability of Carbon Fibre in winnipeg "conditions" (i.e. our dramatic seasons). Now does anyone have carbon fibre products on their car, hoods/bumpers/grills... etc etc.... and know how they handle season to season. Do they have to be removed come the first snow fall or what is the deal. And what about fibre glass???

Just trying to do some research before i do any money drops....

thanx,

You might want to ask Jengz cause he's got alot of it on his P5. He said that he'll be out this sunday(weather permitting).....

carbon fiber is pretty durable not to mention extremely light. but to be on the safe side i would recommend that you put your stock parts back on for winter. that way the clear coat on yout carbon fiber product will last longer. for carbon fiber body kits i recommend you put stock parts back on as well you wouldn't want to shovel the streets with it or worse case scenario you get into an accident. OUCH! it should be ok for first snowfall but i would swap with stock right after.
