MSP Intercooler Hardpipes!

1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys,

Just wanted to post a picture of my near complete intercooler hardpipes. :) They were designed by a couple of local engineers!

All pipes are 2.5" stainless-steel, mandrel bent, and tig-welded. The grey pipe is my current CAI pipe; however, that is going to be cut and joined up with the intercooler pipe - Actually, the MAF is going to connect the two. I'm also going to be using a 1G bpv from a 1st-generation Talon - It has a metal construction and will be more than sufficient at holding a moderate amount of boost. Lastly, I still have to order the silicon reducers and clamps for the hardpipes, as well as polish the pipes to a brilliant shine.

They are going to be also designing my turbo-back exhaust system. Because they used a CAD system, it is is properly designed for the car.

It's time to go faster, no more playing around! :)

Let me know what you think!

Thanks.

Hi Ryan

I like those hard pipes. Is there an estimated price on the final product. I'd love to get rid of my plastic ones and loose all that heat soak.

Hey Ryan,

Will we be able to get the pipes in 2" as well? Also, any chance that the intake pipe can get extended so the cone sits over the fender well?

Phil

Phil,

I'll have to check into the 2" piping.

Yes, the piping can/ will be extended to sit over the opening of the fenderwell. It will be like a short ram intake.

Cheers.

looks very good man. those are some nice clean welds. You should also look into having everything mandrel bent from one solid straight piece as it would help you save on cost if you plan to sell several of these.
