Yokahama Parada's ?

is anyone out there running Yokahama Parada's the Asymetrical ones with the sick tread pattern ? I'm thinking of getting them.

I use them and they are very noisy. I wouldn't suggest them. I'd go Pirelli P7000SS for that price range.

I own a tire business too so I know what I'm talking about. A lot of times the pocketbook depicts buying things though. lol.

What's the offset of the wheel you'll be putting these onto? I just want to make sure for your sake.

IN MY OPINION, they are a great tire for daily driving and they look good as well. I dont have any of the noise problems plus they are nice sticky tires. Get them u wont regret it.

I have the khumo 712 and they are so quiet that even neutraling up my car will not reveal road noise ,. also the wet traction is superb and the tire wear is even better , overall i have to say they are a hard tire to beat for the money, quality and their function

I have to agree with Bruce here. Although im a bit sketchy of their wet traction.

Let me ask you , do you tend to feal a little slide when you are pushing them through moderate corners at moderate speeds in the rain , or not

well I have never had any understeer, just a slight 4 wheel slide ,, not threating , just a polite sign of them reminding me hey there is water on the ground lmao .. my shocks are on there ends cause of the coilovers to , so when the mazdaspeeds get in ,, things should be much grippier

they even have mazdaspeeds for the 1st gen , that is something I never checked into ..... I always wanted a shock that was a bit firmer cause I felt the protege suspension was way to short in the front even with the factory suspension lol .. know I am wondering what tire I should get next , maybe some toyo's , but I dunno if those tires can take a bump without a lump

I might go wiwth the Khumo's, the Ecsta Surpa 712's. But I want a wider tire on my stock 16" rims. Maybe a 205 0r 215, what sidewall profile should I get ? 50, 45, 40 ?
