Winter wheels and tires for Pr5
 

I was wondering what size wheels and tires I should get for my Pr5. I was thinking of going for 15" or 14" wheels. And I would like to get a set of Yokohama Guardex F720 tires as well. I am not sure if 14" wheels would fit, I was thinking they might not clear the brakes. I've been asking the Mazda dealership over here and they don't even know themselves. Anyways any help would be great.

I've talked to my Mazda dealer and he sais I can't get 14" wheels for my Protege 5. Is this true or is this BS?

Before I bought my P5, we went to every dealer in the city. At one of them there was a P5 which looked really strange and when I had a look see, it was because it had steelies on it with hub caps. I asked the saleas guy and he said they did it to show that you can put steel rims on to run winter tires.

I am planning on doing just that this winter after reading the pitting trouble others have been having with the alloys. Now to find out who can supply.
