Winter Tires for a 2002 ES

I recently bought a 2002 ES, which came with the stock wheels with Sumitomo high performance tires on them. The tires are great, but I live in Massachusetts and need something for the winter. I would like to get some 15" steel wheels with some all season/winter tires to use for the winter. Problem is, I can't find anything. Been to Firestone, Goodyear, etc, but no one really has anything. Does anyone have any suggestions? Good tires for a New England winter? Cheap is good, but I don't want any junk.
Thanks for the help.

People who have Nokian tires seem to swear by them. I just got a set of Nokian WRs for my P5. These are their 'all season' tire, and are h rated tires marked for severe winter duty. They give up some dry weather traction and sharpness over the Dunlops that the car came with, but so far they are quite good on snow and ice, plus they have a 120000 km wear out warranty or something. I'm happy so far with them.

Dale.

Thanks for the help. I went with Michelin X-Ice on 15" steels from tirerack.
