Who online has the cheapest prices for rota subzero wheels, what size do u recommend?
 

one of my tires got pretty torn up yesterday, and it looks like my proscess of getting new rims is gonna be hastened a bit by this, being that now i have a reason to get new rims and tires, im looking to order tomrorow if i get them. anyway, what online store has the best prices for rota subzero wheels and tires. im looking at either 17 or 18, id ont know what ones are better, what ones would u recommend?? i know the 18's are more expensive, and that might keep me getting the 17's because i want it to be cheap, but if i get eibach springs will they fill my wheel well?? and still look good??

Beware of the offset you order and the fact that they need machining. I can do those wheels for that price too. But just make sure you get the ones for your car and not another.

Dark, if you havn't ordered your wheels yet.....I would advise you to go with Rishie.....he can match that deal...he just said so...and when you get your wheels you will KNOW they will be right....

how much do the rota subzero wheels weigh? And what's a proper weight for each wheel on a first gen Pro? I was going to get some 17's that weighed 17 lbs each. Is that too much weight?

That's light compared to most inexpensive wheels, but heavier than a set of quality forged wheels.

i didnt order the wheels yet, i opted against it for the moment. i decided to take the money and get a suite on a cruise for the summer. lol. well the rims will have to wait a few months, but i will definately go with him when i order them.

The 17's that weigh 17 lbs each is an inexpensive wheel from wheelmax.com. I think around $800 for wheels and tires that come mounted and balanced. Good deal?

Good deal is a relative term. Super inexpensive rims tend to break, chip, and look crappy in a relatively short time. If you can afford it, spend a bit more money and get some nicer wheels/tires.

What's a good deal then? I'm interested in 17's that dont weigh too much and wont set me back too much. I'm willing to invest more money as long as it's quality I can see/notice. Thnx for the suggestions/answers.

PM Rishie (ARD MP5) and he will hook you up with a good deal on a quality set of 17s. Remember, it's all a balance between price, quality, and weight. You can't buy good-looking, low-weight, high-quality rims for a super-cheap price ($400). It may be possible to find them second hand, but you can run into all kinds of problems if you get the wrong offset, or if they've been dinged or cracked, etc.... If it were me, I would save some $$ and buy a nicer set of rims seeing as you seem to care about performance and weight. Volk, Racing Hart, 5zigen, and a few others make quality light-weight rims. Most other wheel companies just rip off Volk's designs and use heavy materials and poor construction.
