Wheels that fit a Civic, fit my first gen?

Will wheels that fit on a Civic fit on my car as well? I know the bolt pattern is the same but what about the hub??
Only reason I'm asking is that I have 14" aluminum wheels that were on my bro's Civic before he went off to school.

And what's with the bolts on the factory wheels...they're a damn odd size and I have to get a new socket to fit! Because the factory tire iron will not fit in the bolt holes of the new wheels!!

Someone tell me what the correct socket size is for these things.

I bought my 14" rims from my friend who had them on a civic hatch, so yes I'm assuming they'll fit. He had to give me his lugs though because mine were too fat from the 13" steelys. The offset seemed to be pretty much dead on, too...

Yes, they will bolt up and the offset will probably be right too (almost all Civics have 45mm offset wheels, same as a Pro). The only problem is that they won't be hubcentric because Hondas have larger hubs than a Pro. This may lead to a high speed vibration problem. However, if the wheels are an aftermarket brand that's still available (as opposed to Honda OEM wheels) you should be able to buy new hub rings to fit your Pro.

I have no idea about the socket.

That's what I was afraid of...although they do vibrate on the Civic (it's an '87 by the way)
They're ASA wheels and I dont think they're made anymore
