Tires: cant decide
OKay so I dont know if I want to but the stock 215/45/17 potenza's for the MSP $175 :FU2: each or go with the Kuhmo ecsta supra 712 215/45/17 for around $100 each
has anyone rode on kuhmo on their MazdaSpeed? |
descent car!!!!..
i dont own a msp.. and dont know alot about tires (except knowing when they suck or have good tred) *oh yeah still runnin some bald ass wheels!!.. not really* kuhmo |
yeah i love the car and have better pics but just to lazy to car i took it with a 1.2 mp camera
but for real any speed owners/ or anyone for that matter |
I've got the Sumitomo HTR+ on my P5 in the 215/40/17 size and could not be happier. I know the P5 has more weight but the Sumo's have worn great with no road noise, excelent grip in dry and wet and plenty more thread left after 25,000 + miles. Plus they cost around $85 to $90. Just a thought and another possible choice.

I would rather have Falken Azenis, Nitto Neogen, Toyo Proxes 4, Yokohama X pattern(dont know real name). But thats my street racer side talkin.

Kuhmos are a nice sticky tire. Grips the road really good. The Potenzas are good, but have only tried the ZR rated ones not sure of the rating on the stock ones.

The 712's are supposed to be decent and are a low price. I'll be getting those, the Toyo T1-S , or the ES100 this summer. You might also check the Dunlop Direzza DZ101, which looks like it has potential (saw them on Tire Rack)

From Cali eh? Well I heard that the Nitto NeoGen tires are actually pretty popular out there (this came from a discount tire guy and I'm not sure if it's accurate). I have them on my Protege and I really love the sleek look, feel, and the name of course!

Yeah i figured the info was bogus. My old tires before my new ones were falkens. I guess I liked the way they looked especially in those Import Tuner mags. C'mon!!
