New Yokohama S.Drive Tires
Has anyone tried out the new S.drive tires from yokohama? I hear they are much better than the ES100 they're replacing.
My 17" OEM Goodyears are on they're way out at 19,000 miles. My other choices are the G-forces or Dunlop Sports. |
I sure hope so, 'cause IMO those ES100s really sucked. I'm a fan of BFG tires, so I say go with the G-Forces, or better yet, a set of KDW2s. :)

The G-Force tires that I have on my P5 friggin rock. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better that the stock goodyears, little road noise like the goodyear didn't have, and great handling. I have the G-Force Sports, so the pattern is a little more aggressive, but I would recommend them. BFG's and Michellins are usually my tire of choice.

P5s came with Duncraps.

Thanks all - how many miles do you get out of the KDW's and the Sports?

I'm gonna need new summer tires for next year .. this thread looks promising. What about the Spec2 Paradas? Good tires?
|
you're high.. really high.
The Yokohama AVS ES100s are nice ultra high performance summer tires. The paradas I never had any respect for since they seemed to be about style more than anything else. Plus they are noisy as hell I need new summer tires next spring as well.. and new winter tires that I gotta order in a few weeks :'( |
