Need help picking out rims!

I am on a somewhat small budget and would like to uprgade to a decent pair of rims. I would appreciate any advice as far as size and costs go. I don't wanna go any larger than 16's....i think? I have a '99 LX and am tired of hubcaps......would it be a good idea to just go with the rims that came on the ES's...i know they were 15's but i wanna improve handling and grip without a big cut in ride quality.

I started out with 14", then 16", and then 18" Really couldn't tell a driving difference until I jumped to 18". I lost some riding comfort but gained handling that means nothing because I baby the bitch anyway. I went to 18" for looks then needed a camber kit. So 18" will cost more. Your looking for comfort and not to interested in looks plus staying cheap, shop around for 15" or 16". This is my 99LX with 18"
