Here's the info you're looking for from a Motegi distributor, me.
If you see the same style wheel in a different manufacturer, it's the same mold. IMHO. Therfore, they are all knock-offs and it's nothing special. Some have better centercaps or minor aesthetic differences to slightly differentiate, but they're all the same. Some just sell for a shitload more than others. The one piece wheels are not neccessarily lightweight. I'd have to check that particular style, but I have not run into one that made me go, holy shit, like I did when holding the Rota Subzero and Volk Racing wheels. However, if weight is not a concern and they fit your budget, then go for it. I'll check my fitment guide, but assuming you have a protege5 the chances may be slim. What you are looking for is a 7" width with a +44 or higher. In a 7.5" width you'll require a +48mm offset. These are the safe limitations and will not require any mods to your vehicles body or suspension. See ya, Rishie I own a Protege5 as well and have test fit all these and made all the fatal mistakes so you won't have too. hehe. |
