I have the same rims and im going to lower the car this weekend i will let you guys know what happenes. I will be using skunk2 coilovers so i will go as far as i can go. There will be nobody but me in my car so hopefully that means about 2 inches

Your rims are sweet they look nice on the car,,.....I am wondering what a thick spoke rim would look like on these protege5's with like 5 ,6, or 7 stars

Here is a picture of our Protege with our 18's on it. I love the way it sits, it's just perfect.

Cool! How's the ride, and what are your alignment specs? Are
you getting any rubbing?

im a newbie... what is the offset of the factory wheels?

and what is the bolt pattern? 114.3 x 5 lug?

thanks.

SedanMan March-18th-2003 05:37 PM

If I remember correctly the offset +50 but the rim is only 6inches wide.

the bolt pattern you mentionned if the correct one.

thanx sedanman! :)

So from reading all this....it seams like a +45 will BARELY clear in the rear. And a +47 will fit perfect. Is this right? With such a high offset like 47, is there any clearance problems on the inside against the strut? I need to know the EXACT offset needed to tuck a 18x7.5 OR a 19x7.5. My wheel company said they could mill them down to what ever i needed before they shipped them. Im going to be running airbag struts by the end of March and will be tucking the CRAP out of my wheels, so i need to know the offset BEFORE i order my wheels.
