Got new tires tonight
 

i finally broke down and got some new rubber. Another set of Kumho Ecsta 712 205/45/ZR16....time to work em in :D :D :D :D

I've got them on my 2000 ES. I had an... uh.. "aggressive alignment", setup, and wore out the Bridgestones pretty quick. I love the Kumhos, and they seem to wear pretty well, as long as I keep the alignment straight after racing.

Anyone ever had Yokohama AVS Intermediates and switched to Kumhos? The grip of the Yoko's is awesome, but the treadwear rating of 160 sucks ass :(

When I get around to modding my Protege I'm going to put eithe rof those two tires on, but I want some that last more than 20k miles...

i thought so :D But they look goofy with full tread....i liked the squareness the old ones had...... :(

nice! I also bought the same tires (205/50/15) about 1-2 months ago... I LOVE Em... it rains tons where I live (vancouver) and these rock in the rain... best tires every

btw, how much did you pay for yours?

i was kinda in a hurry and didn't really have time to shop around, but got em for $82 per tire.
