fitment on Mazdaspeed Protege
 

anyone knows if the stock P5 16" rim will fit the Mazdaspeed protege. I want to get them for my winter rubber (225/45/16). since the disc and the caliper is bigger.... I believe, will they fit??? thanks.:D

The wheels will fit on the car.
I don't think that 225 tires will fit on the wheel though.

i know 205's WILL fit. 215s should very well fit also. but im not truly sure. ask a tire place like MR.Tire. They might be able to let u know more.

althought those tires may FIT on the wheel.....NEITHER of those sizes are recommended for a 6 inch wheel...which the stock 16 inch alloys are.......

doesn't mean you can't put them on there.....but if you have a tire failure for any reason...and the tire is on a wheel which is thinner than is recommended by the tire maker....good luck on getting any restitution for your tires...OR your car. They will just claim you were using the tire in a manner not recommended by them and YOU will be out of luck. Its a chance you have to decide on taking..
