? about rotation

Well the other day me and my buddy were gona rotate my wheels/tires on the p5 but ran into a snag. We took off all the lugnuts but the wheel wouldn't budge. i mean the car was nearly walking off the stands but the wheel just stayed there, i called the dealershit thinking i missed something they werent much help (not supprising) the guy was like get under the car and give it a few kicks.... :crook: im thinking while he said this *are you a ******* moron? hmm car slips off jackstands and squish* needless tosay he had no idea how to do anything.

So its a few days later and still trying to figure out how to get my wheels off to rotate them.
Any ideas would be very helpful

Thanks, Ian

i use a rubber mallet and hit the side of the bottom of the tire ...usually one smack fixes it but one from the front and one from the back has never not fixed it.

Yeah I had a major time getting the rear passenger tire off and I did what your friend did give a couple swift kicks to the side of the tire and it finally came loose

I have had the same problem with mine. When you finally get the rim off, look at the inner hub on the brake disc (or drum). You will see corrosion built up there, I think because of the tight clearance between the rim and brake component. Water gets in there, and since you have dissimilar metals close to each other you get the corrosion. Clean off the corrosion and then use some sort of anti-seize compound (I used some motorcycle assembly lube). That should correct the problem.
