225/50/16 on P5?
Ok.. I know that the first thing any one will say is this has been beaten to death on the board already and to do a search... well I did one and I still have a question....
I was at the ProSoloII even at Texas Motor Speedway last weekend and saw a lot of guys running 225/50/16's on WRX's and I know that they have a different tire width (6.5 vs our 6.0?) Well I think this over tired wheel looks cool and functional and I want to know this... If I were to buy a set of Azenis or Kumho MX tires what would be the largest size I could get on the stock 16x6 rims? My P5 willl remain unlowered for a couple of years so rubbing on the outside probably won't be a problem. Thanks for your help |
well ok... that is too large... but...
Ok how about this... What is the largest Sticky Stock class type rubber we can place on these 16*6's?
I know that 225 will rub like hell, but what about 215-50's on stockers? |
215/40/16 Hoosiers ;)
|
Now that is greatness! Thanks for the help...
Any Street/Autocross tires? Is it true hoosiers don't work well without more camber? |
205/45/16:
Kumho Ecsta V700/V70A Toyo RA-1 Hoosier's marketing info says the the sidewall is rounded to purposely handle cars without much negative camber .. but I'm not actually sure how well they hold up in practice. |
