18" rims - Tire rub?

I am looking a set of enkei rims with yokohama parada 2 tires. Here are the specs on them 225/40ZR18 92W, will those fit? are they too wide?? My car isn't lowered so I don't have that to worry about... the sedan can take a lower offset then the p5 though right?

How about you have some patience.

I dunno about the fitment of 225/40 's Ask Rishie "ARD MP5"

As for 215/35/18 I can say first hand that the Falken ZIEX tires will fit. My car is lowered 2.5" But remember all tires are different, some may fit some won't even with the same measurement.

Alot of it also depends on the wheel size/offset/width, etc. Why don't you ask Rishie or wheelguruuu, he would be able to tell you.

What size are the wheels?

The rims are 18" but I don't know the width.. I am still waiting for the seller to get back to me, hopefully the are 7" but probably not! we'll see and thanks for writing back, I am still waiting for a response from ARD MP5 (richie).

Wow, I never saw this post. I haven't been on since the whole weekend holiday and such.

Anyways. The tire size is too tall and wide. You need to run a 215/35/18 for one. Possibly a 215/40 but that depends on the offset of the wheel.

What I need is the model of the Enkei wheel you have. Make sure it is 4x100. Similar to several hondas, nissans, and toyotas. From the model I should be able to source the offset info.

THanks, Rishie

C\heck back later.

i have a question reguarding this topic. I have a 2002 P5 and i am thinking about rims/tires. I am stuck on a size. I want to go 18", but in dont know if i can run this size or not. I just had a set of coilovers installed and it dropped it a little (bout .5 inch) from stock.

would i be safe with 18" with coil overs?

any advice would be great.

Take it from someone who screwed up, sometimes it's just OK. I can live with the rubbing unit I can get some air bags to fix it, because it fills out the wheel wells great. I love the way my tires and rims fill out the car. Sorry the pics are blurry, low batteries.
