15" 4 x 100 Protege wheels

Does anyone know if other manufacturer's wheel's will fit the on 15" 4 x 100 Protege's?

Do the Honda/Toyota/Nissan (or any other) wheels fit? I tried doing a search but couldn't come up with anything.

Thanks.

I tried to put Honda Civic Si Wheels on my car from the 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si, as I liked the appearance of them.

This was a couple years ago when these wheels were hot :o

I don't know the technical reason for why this happened, because I think the offset of the wheels was ok, but the wheels couldn't be held on well enough onto the wheel hub, basically the lug nuts could only be tightened up hand tight before the lug nuts started eating into the wheels.

The wheels were WAY unsafe loose on my Protege, and so the next day they came off only to be replaced by the ugly stockers.

It may be the centerbore of the wheel being different, but stay away from Honda factory wheels, the center part of the wheel doesn't mate with the Mazda hubs very well.

I believe the FAQ has a few options you can go with if you choose to use OEM rims from a different manufacturer. Unfortunately, the FAQ appears to be down.

I also remember reading that the 4x100 mm wheels for the protege share the exact same dimensions as some wheels for the miata, so you might want to look into that. Just remember to check out every measurement, including offset and centerbore.
