14 inch Wheels
I'm looking to buy used 14' wheels, what other models use the same bold pattern? Maybe 626 or Ford focus...
16' winter tire are too expensive for me... Thanks Ritch |
For used wheels or stock wheels (like those that require wheel covers), I suggest you go to Ebay. I am planning to get 14" wheels for snow tires too.

I got some NICE brand new 14 inch Mazda wheels off of ebay that were for the 99+ Protege's in other Countries. They did not offer them in the US. They are really nice wheels. I think he had several more sets. Here is the e-mail address........ importonly2002@hotmail.com

93+ Mazda 626, MX-6 and Ford Probe wheels are a perfect fit for 5-bolt Proteges. Base models came with 14x5.5's; V-6 MX-6's and 4-cyl. Probe SE's came with 15x6's. Ford Focus wheels have a 4x108mm bolt pattern and will not fit any Protege.

I have 14 inches tires for my P5 and they are just perfect, i've tried 15 inches and they are too wide and slick for winter, get 185 / 65R / 14.

Do you feel a difference went you drive cause the dealer told me that if i go with 14" you will feel a big difference went your driving, Is that true or not. Cause that why im going for 15"

Man with 15's you could get some Compomotive HT-2's or something... mate those to some skinny rally tires and haul ass down the back road in the snow/rain/ gravel...
The problem is trying to get your wife to play Nicky Grist and read the damn notes right..:D -chris |

I've got some 14" steelies lined up but would really much rather get 14x6 alloys.
So far I've found two options that aren't completely fugly or super-expensive. But I don't know exactly where to get them (have to wait 'till tomorrow to call the tire shop for like the 80's time). - G-Racing Suzu 14x6. But I can't find any details about bolt pattern. Fearing 4-lug only. - Rodao R-110-CB 14x6. They seem to come with proper bolt pattern and center bore. Never heard of this company, and they don't list any dealers in Canada.... eep! At least the weather network says it won't be below freezing this week at least. :D |
