www.mpsport.net What's up with them?
There are only 2 cities shown on this forum, what's up with that? What about the rest of Canada??? I'm choked.

Hey Dion
I think you mean www.mpsport.net. If you may recall, one of the guys from that site is also the same guy making the custom battery tie downs (mine's on order!!!). I had spoken to him about posting some pictures of our cars and he was quite open to it. I also think it more of a club thing as seeing that right now, as far as I know, only Vancouver and Toronto have "official" Protege clubs, I guess it makes sense. Okay so I may be full of it but we can surely pose the question to him. |

Actually, just ignore the city names.
The Toronto/Ontario guys have started their own forum on www.TOprotege.com Just post to the Vancouver one as if it was "General". In fact, no one there right now is really following the forum names anyways. It's gonna be a bit chaotic until we get our new forums set up. =P |
Don't know how I missed this post seeing i'm the admin at mpsport.net!
NOooooooooo please don't feel like that 90210!! I've only put those sections because thats the only clubs/cities that I know there are clubs. If you are elsewhere in Canada, PLEASE let me know and I will open a new section without hesitation! |

Western Canada meet would be sweet if Mazda Canada helped out a bit ;)
Which they actually might if they see that our club is serious, etc. |
Help us out....How?
|
well I know they think our club (vancouver) is pretty serious with our recent meet.
If they could help us out with anything these are the following: 1) co-op with the RCMP so we don't have any problems (a MUST) 2) gas coupons for all the protege's going out there, and back 3) free oil change 4) free food/stay or discounted stay if we end up staying out there... I've gone to Penticton for the past 5 years in a row, (in the summer) and the last 3 times there have been car shows there along the strip. (Mainly older/british cars)... The city is really good to those clubs who have their meets out there... and they also allow burnouts on the strip during some times... |
They gave us tons of free stuff at our meet, so the Western meet, I don't see why they wouldn't give out a bunch of free oil changes like Gujustud said, or maybe a buy a protege, get an rx-8 for half price type of coupon??? lol
seriously though, if they payed for food and drinks that'd be good too |

Hey Dion
I was in Kelowna in July and it was a really nice drive getting there. Not too crazy about when I got there since there seemed to be so much traffic in the city. Amazing. Went via the Rogers pass route and had a blast. So we (wife and I) are certainly up to have one, maybe next summer. |
