Is there enough people from winnipeg that might wanna get together one night with our cars?

For sure... my car's stock, but I'd love to see some mods performed on P5's so I can get some ideas!! :cool:

well, my p5 is the yellow one with mazdaspeed on the front....i've done a few mods like a ractive exhaust system....ractive racing pedals, but more is to come. i'm saving up for an ingen intake system right now and sparco reclinable racing seats. I'm thinking if we get around five people to start, it could catch on to a weekly cruise night. i'll wait for a little more replies but thanks for the intrest guys.

I would be interested in this as well. I was over at the MazdaMP3 forum and was already talking with a couple members about a informal meet at 9:00 PM on Sunday, September 15th...which I guess is actually tonight now. :)

Ryan, I'm pretty sure I saw you in your MP3 yesterday... Were you heading down Sargent towards Route 90 South at around 11:30 am? May, you have a sweet car... I didn't realize there were any MP3's in Winnipeg - yours is the only one I've seen! For a minute I thought it was a 2003 ES GT in the new color, but the spoiler gave it away. Wish I could have gotten closer for a good look :)

Sunday, September 29th would probably work well....still before winter sets in and we'd all have time to organize ourselves. Someplace in the St. James area would be good as it's probably more central, plus afterwards we can always go for a cruise.

Is everyone else good with this?

Seems like the 29th will work out. I'm all up for cruisin. It'll pretty cool having around 5 or 6 P5's in a row. I'll have to remember to bring my camera. The St.James area is good for me. I live at the end of Pembina but would love the excuse to drive my car. As for my age, i'm turning 24 tomorrow.

Count me in on the 29th... So the meeting is set...

Hey a MP5 meeting sounds great to me!!! Just got my P5 a little over 2 weeks ago and have been loving it ever since :)

Course someone else liked it to and tried to break in to it all ready :( Damn I hate people some time.

I won't be able to make the 29th, but I hope you guys will deciede to do another meet at another time before winter. Be pretty cool to see all the mods that are available for P5's.

Just to clarify....it won't just be P5s from my understanding...I'll invite anyone I know who drives a Protege as I own an MP3 not an MP5l. :)

i saw some sweet ass protege's in the polo park parking lot while i was coming home from the hockey game last night. I didn't have anytime though to stop by since i work at 7:00 in the morning. But i promise i'll stop next time i see you guys.....oh yeah, and i was the yellow mazdaspeed p5

So how many proteges are we up to now? I hope you guys don't mind me bringing my stock P5, just hoping to get some ideas from yours.

Well I've posted about it everywhere I can...hopefully we will have a decent turnout. As for having a stock P5...that's all good, it's about owning the car, if it's stock or modded to the hilt, all will be welcome.

I just installed a new shifter know and boot in my car. It matches all the other yellow on it. But I think that i'll have to paint the center console because the silver on yellow looks really tacky. Also, does anyone know where i could get a short shifter kit for the P5? We'll see you all on sunday!

hey soma, you said your P5 was yellow right? and that you live in the richmond area, i dunno if it was you but ive seen two in the area either going home or going to school.

1st sighting - saw a person (more likely a female) wearing a hat (straw i think) driving down pem.

2nd sighting - on waverly / bishop crossing, near th auto mall, a east indian (don't want to offend anyone here) going by.

can't remember the date, mornings are terrible for me.

You can't really miss mine. I've seen another yellow P5 in the area. Mine has a yellow Mazdaspeed decal on the windshield along with a performance muffler, tint, and yellow/black seat covers(until i can afford reclinable Sparco seats). If you guys ever see me in a parking lot, don't be scared to say hi.
