Windshield Repair
 

Damn this weather! I found a nice crack in my windshield in the lower corner on the driver side. It starts at the bottom, heads up at an angle, and then heads back down to the bottom of the windshield. Luckily, it's not in my line of sight, so I don't think I'll get a new windshield right away. However, I was curious if anybody else has had their windshield replaced, and if so, how much did it cost?

In particular, anybody know a good place in Calgary?

Sorry Mike. I just had mine done after I moved here from Calgary. It cost me all $100 through AMA but, I had windshield insurance put on my car when I first moved there. That was one of the things that I knew was going to happen with the city of Calgary sanding their roads. When I moved back here to Vancouver, I didn't get windshield insurance because 'we' use salt instead. Think about putting the insurance on. It saves the hassel.:(

We still have those damn gravel trucks, though. I got a nasty crack on the third friggin day of owning my Protege. Boy, was I pissed off.
