Re: Window Tinting

Dave,

What kind of tint do you guys use? Any warranty? What does the warranty cover?

Your prices sound good and I'd totally run up to Edmonton if you guys use top of the line tint and have a lifetime warranty against, peeling, bubbling, discoloration, etc. :D

I had TINTWORKS (edmonton) do my all my windows. They sure did a bang up job!!! Plus, it didn't cost me an arm and a leg to do it...$205.00 TINTWORKS guarantee their work as well, so you can be sure that you'll be getting quality work.

Right now they have a promo:

$135.00 for most 2 doors

For Protege 5: $175.00 for back windows, $205 for all windows.

They're going to do the eyebrow for my windshield next month...can't wait.

If you want more info contact:

If you have an edmonton online account, offline msg TINTWORKS.

Tell 'em "james w/ the black Protege 5" sent 'cha!!

Hi Dave,
Ok, so is that metallized tint or not? And what exactly does the warranty cover? Thanks for the info. If you can match $150 for all the back windows (5 on the Pro LX sedan), I will seriously consider driving up to Edmonton to get it done!! :D

warranty

The warranty covers cracking, peeling, or demetalizing. Our high performance metal film is warranted for as long as the original purchaser retains ownership of the vehicle.

Okay picked up my P5 from Aero Car Parts yessterday after the eyebrow was done and what can I say? How about Wow! Most excellent job, not a blemish. I cannot even see any edge along the frame. It certainly made a difference with the sun coming in.

While I was at it, I had the moon/sun roof done. Another excellent job.

Dave, thanks very much for the great and quick service.

I will try and post some pics if I ever figure out how to do this without having a web site.

Cheers
Chris

Well, I don't know many sites that will host the pics for free, but if you join up on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mazdaprotege/ , you can upload the pics there and you can link people to that site.

I'd love to see the pics. I've never really thought about doing the eyebrow, but that may be cool.

BTW, what's the address for Aero Car Parts in Edmonton?
