Vancouver is no Calgary when it comes to gas

Gas, at it's cheapest, thusfar, is 69.9. I like it in C-town when I could get it at 54.5. Damn. What are you paying and where?

alcoholiday January-3rd-2003 12:48 PM

it's 50.4 here right now in the south end. after the 3.5cent off thing.

Not yet, but I am not under their payroll yet. I am still under WCB.

ah, i see. well, they'd better compensate for the difference somehow.

Man the gas prices blow here. They were, 2 days ago 73.5, then yesterday they went from 73.5, to 71.3, to 70.5 and today they are back up to 75.5. What the hell? Are you telling me that prices need to change that quickly. Don't tell me gas companies are 'already making a slim profit'. That's bunk, especially went some campanie can afford to 'update' their pumps,......right. I know, on the stock exchange yesterday, the price of a barrel went up by over a buck but, come on.

alcoholiday January-10th-2003 10:34 AM

we're up to 70 now. it went from 55 to 70 overnight about a week ago.

Brycer79 January-10th-2003 04:29 PM

what hte heck I can't remeber the last time it was 55 here in edmonton and it's not like we are days apart or anything.....

btw,
the general trend in Vancouver is that gas cycles in price.

It's usually at it's cheapest on Sunday night and goes back up on Monday mornings.

This cycle thing has been going on for several years now.

Used to be Thursdays that it goes up... then they changed it to wednesdays, then tuesdays, and now mondays.

And if you don't know of this site:
