NorthHill Mazda and club Deals! There here!

I just talked to Ron, the parts and service manager at NorthHill Mazda, (I was getting my oil changed) I told him of our little club here and he told me to get a list together of Calgary owners and he will give them a club discount of 15% off retail. That's better than what we would normally get. Thanks Ron! Just leave your name, your type of car (4/5 door)(Sedans more than welcome) and your license plate number (so he can recognize your car). It'll work on all accessories, but I have no idea if it'll work on services, 'I don't know', sorry. I will get a list together by October 31st, if everyone leaves their name. PM your 'info' to me. If you want in, say your with the 'Protegeclub.com' of Calgary to Ron and maybe Shawn and Ryan. It'll apply then!

skyhawk174 September-25th-2002 07:32 PM

Hmmm, sounds suspiciously like the start of a Calgary Protege club :p. I think it is a good idea by the way.

Some Edmonton guys are talking about doing just that also. We'll see.

sylvanlights September-25th-2002 09:34 PM

What about us Central Albertans? We want in too! :D

I'm a little surprised and disappointed that I only have 4 names on my list. Is the deal not good enough? Does nobody believe they'll need anything for their car? I'm not sure what to tell 'em as to why the participation is so low. I'll go back and ask what else he can do for us, or at least make it the same as what the Miata club gets.

alcoholiday October-1st-2002 02:14 PM

tooooooo far away from me. i'd rather deal with them but it's just too far to drive.

Where do you live that it's too far? All the dealers are like half-an-hour from each other at most!

Anyway, so what's the scoop 90210 Boy?

RotaryJay October-2nd-2002 05:36 PM

I talked to Shawn today at NorthHill, I asked her about rims for snow tires for our Pro's. She told me that they're getting some in a week and they'll go on sale. All I know they are 15" rims made of steel. Better that ruining our rims. MSRP $210 for $80! Nice eh?

steelies shouldn't be any more than $70 each. tops. even that's high.

$210 must be a typo.:o

Hey Mike does not the Protege come with steel rims? Just wondering how come you have to change?

Pro_fan October-10th-2002 12:47 AM

Small winter accident last year w/ a curb :(

I posted details here on Pclub when it happened, but I can't remember the thread.

Basically, came to stop, started to round a corner, lost ALL traction, hit a concrete barrier w/ the driver side front wheel.

Threw off the alignment and wrecked the rim. I shoulda got a rim from elsewhere :( My mistake...they just took advantage.

Oh well...got me some good winters...hopefully no more mishaps!

Hi, I heard that you can already get 15% off accessories at northill mazda if you say you saw it on the web.

Yeah maybe. But oh well. All I need is a little info but if no one is willing to give it up then too bad for them. It is really no skin off my back. I just thought I would help out the rest of the 'crew', but "Whatever". I believed that there would be more interest, with all the cowtowners out there with MP's but maybe I was wrong. Oh well.

90210brandon October-28th-2002 04:32 AM

I talked to Ron on Wednesday and he told me that they (Northhill) will be selling the steel rims I mentioned before for $59 each. That's better heh?

Pro_fan October-28th-2002 01:15 PM

$59? Now I'm really pissed at Sunridge. No more service on my Pro from them

nothing but problems form sunridge......

Pro_fan October-30th-2002 09:25 AM

Not to hijack the thread, but have you had problems with Sunridge too P5Chick?

I'm going to take mine to Northhill now I think. The only problem I had with Northhill is that they look really small and I wasn't sure if they'd be any good or not.

Get off my thread damn it! J/K. There ARE small, but they have been super nice to me everytime I have gone in. I have been there 5 or 6 times. Ron, Shawn, and Ryan have had my car done all the time, on time. They have been great. But they done like sedans...Hehe;)

is this 15% deal still on? I need some winter tires :-)

superfly

Snype451 November-6th-2002 08:20 AM

You know, for winter tires I went to Kal Tire. They were able to hook me up with some 16" steel rims (my summer tires are 17") and some nice Michelin Pilot Alpines tires.

I got the rims last year for 70$ the service was excelent and quick. The rubber was a bit more like $160 but hey its winter if you don't wanna bang up that nice car, get some good rubber under it.

Jep, they are still on. Should be on-going now. Just get your car and info in. That's all you need to do.

Well, my summers are 17's so if they will fit anything less should. The tires are great. I got the pilot alpines becuase they can deal with a lot of dry driving, but also have it when you need it on the snow. I belive they are 205/50r16.

Holy crap. > what I thought! Cool.

Sunridge

I can't believe all the anti- Sunridge talk. I originally went to Northhill to buy my p5 and they wouldn't look twice at me ( just because i walk in wearing dirty "carharts" doesn't mean there's no money there {ceratinly make more bank in a year than a prejudice car salesman}). So i went to Sunridge and bought a car that day. Just by chance dealt with the salesmanager and he was awesome.

But anyways i talked to James in parts (just bought a Ractive intake) and he gave me 15% off as well. So all of you who side by me with the anti- northhill thing, sunridge is there as well. BUT don't buy eibach pro-kit there 'cause it's too much, especially install, but who's buying much at the dealerships any ways. You should all be going to the speed shops in town, cheaper and way more knowledgeable about aftermarket shit.

Maxx Mazda November-13th-2002 12:00 PM

Broich,

Did you buy from Jeff? I used to work there, so I've got a big in with all the guys. I get stuff at cost plus 10% still. Something to think about.
