new MP3 in Winnipeg

Hey guys,

just to let you all know, i've traded in the yellow p5 for a used mp3....so now Ryan actually has some competition now :)

BigBlue October-28th-2002 01:01 PM

Congrats Dave! I actually find it kinda lonely having one of the only MP3s so it's nice to see another owner that will be out.

I know I'm gonna be sure to have you out at autoX as often as possible so you can represent Mazda with me! :)

GOBLUES October-28th-2002 01:20 PM

Damn... I'm envious!! Those MP3's are sweet looking cars! How many K's on the MP3?? Where was it from?

PJ 5 October-28th-2002 02:56 PM

Nooooooo.... Why??? ;) Now that guy with the truck that you whooped, is going to buy your P5... :D

Just incase you guys don't recognize my car, It's on winter mode... No rims, No Grill and No Intake...

204_MP5 October-29th-2002 09:47 AM

Lol winter mode, seems like mine is in dirty mode, can keep that dam car clean anymoire lol damn slush

soma October-29th-2002 10:13 AM

Tonnes of kms (60,000).....but super clean....got a great deal so i'm not complaining...owner lived in the middle of nowhere ontario? I'm also now in winter mode...hurray to $1100 blizzak winter tires and rims (came with the car)!

GOBLUES October-29th-2002 10:19 AM

PJ, why'd you have to switch the grill?? Also, for all you 'Peggers out there, what are you guys doing for wheels in the winter... I think I'm going to stay stock as I've heard they're good in the winter. As for the rims, if they get messed up, just an excuse to buy new ones in the summer!!

soma October-29th-2002 10:24 AM

Well, even though it was only one day of snow, but i had changed my 17's to the 15 inch BfGoodrich Blizzak winters and i didn't spin once in the snow....But give me a couple of weeks with snow til i give you a true answer.....and you don't wanna leave your rims on during the winter....if you don't have enough money to buy winter tires, atleast buy steelies...just remeber that it costs to change your tires over to new rims and it will wear them down slightly by constantly changing them.....

My advice, new winter tires and steelies.

With all the salt and sand that they will be spreading this winter, I decided to take off the grill, it might rust. But our stock rims are okey to drive through the winter. As long as you don't scrape or damage it, it will be fine. Our tires are good too. So I have my stock rims on till Spring.

Stock wheels are 100% fine in the winter. Tires are good too.

I can't skate pretty good, but I can play street Hockey. Basketball is my thing.
Winter meet would be great as long as it's indoor.

GOBLUES October-31st-2002 02:06 PM

I'm up for a winter meet... maybe play a little street hockey, then go somewhere warm!!
