hey was it from Alarmtec? Thats where I got my alarm!!! MB you should donate it to someone in the group who doesnt have one...:P

Pro_fan April-16th-2003 11:07 PM

Is installation included? I've heard of some "winners" that won the alarm, but have had to pay for the install or some other BS.

pr5owner April-17th-2003 10:15 AM

If it's the Quinn one, DONT GET IT! It's a fucking trap. EVERYONE that enters gets one of those certificates. It's $99 for install, but as soon as you get there, they add on all these bullshit costs, and upgrade your alarm. YOu end up paying for a shitload of stuff. THat stupid "teh w1n!" certificate is just to lure you in...

Myself and two of my friends also "won."

What MaxxMazda said is the truth man. Quinn gives those "free alarm systems" out all the time, and then when you go to get it, they bend you over the counter with all the installation and upgrading crap they pull. If you ever see one of there installs, they are butcher jobs as well. Stay away from them if you value your electrical system.
