hail damage in calgary

anyone else get swiss-cheesed yesterday afternoon in the storm? my hood, roof and the side bits of the roof are toast. so is the top portion of the hatch door (between the wing and the roof panel). i think the side panels are ok but i'll have to wash the car and look really closely to make sure.

oh well. at least it's a comp claim.:(

Nope..cuttin it close though. I quickly drove downtown to pick up my mom from work as soon as it started to hail a little. I made her get off work early so I can go pick her up hehe.

I was downtown with rents with the Benz, didn't run into any hail, heavy rain tho...

i know i fu**in' ran outside really quickly and open the garage to bring in my car. but my neighbour's minivan has his windshield cracked..

Not sure yet. My car is really dirty now, so damage may be mixed in with dirt. I'll give my car a good wash after I come back from camp & see what the damage is like ... (not to mention any damage I'll get on my way to camp ...) :(

Hey, have you guys seen any hail damage sales advertised? Not for Mazda specifically or anything.. just curious :)

well, the damage was just south of $3000.

new hood, repairs to roof, a-pillars/panels, hatch and new paint on those parts.

goes in next tuesday.

finally fixed. looks ok as far as the damage itself goes. it seems they were a little rough on the car though. scuffs and stuff around the hatch etc. oh well.
