Calgary Protege Meet

Here's the details for the August 7th meet in Calgary:

We'll meet at 7:00pm, in the far east lot. (The entrance is right across from Robin's donuts.) Upon entering, take your first left into that nice little treed-in area. That should provide some decent lighting for photos, as well as some shade from the elements. I'll be bringing a 12 pack of coke, and someone else is bringing cookies, and another a strong appetite. ;) If you'd like to bring a refreshment of some kind, great, but it's not required. So far we have 6 people confirmed, and I'm guessing another 3 or so will just show up. Not a bad turnout for the first ever Calgary Protege meet! I'll be bringing a few friends with me, and I encourage you to do the same! The more people we get there the better!

So, once again it's Wednesday, August 7th, at 7:00 pm in the east side of the McMahon lot. Bring your Protege, and be prepared for some good times! On a side note, it will be occuring rain or shine. It may be miserable in the rain, but the trees actually do provide a good bit of shelter for us, so once you're parked, it's not a problem.

Hope to see you all there!

Nick

I know you can get 512meg flash, but since they run over $300 bucks. And since I take probably less than 100 pics per month, I find it hard to spend that kind of money on memory when when I have a 80gig HD to store them. I was just saying that with pr5owner's camera and the addition of mine, we should have enough memory between us to satisfy everyone needs. I was in no way, shape or form trying to brag and say "look at me!" - Peace - hope to see you all at the meet!

Option #1

Take #2 South
#2 = Deerfoot Trail in Calgary city limits
Exit right off Deerfoot Trail onto 16th Ave West
Exit right off16th Ave onto Crowchild Trail North
and McMahon Stadium is right across the street from the intersection of the 16th Ave exit and Crowchild North
Enter stadium and turn left.

Option #2 ( probably the easiest route )

Take #2 South
Exit right off Deerfoot onto Memorial Drive West bound
Exit right off Memorial onto Crowchild Trail Northbound
McMahon stadium on left side ( can't miss it!)
Enter main gates and turn left.

Option #3

Buy a map and if you still get lost - ask for directions - lol

I don't know what Maxx Mazda has planned. It sounds like a good idea though.
