Calgary Meet: Saturday Dec.21@Starbucks on Centre
 

OK so Im just going to take the initiative here, Saturday meet on the 21st will be at the Starbucks near North Hill Mazda. The time is 5 pm. Ill be there for sure. Will someone please reply that they are going to go for sure because it will be very lonely at a coffee shop alone lol.

well at least there are two of us congfirmed, Pr5owner being late...mannnn I might ask my friend to come along considering that the poll said 9 people and only 2 are going...oh well hopefully we get more responses before Saturday....The meet after christmas sounds good too. Hope everyone can make it to either one.

Wow ... I was off the board for a couple of days & so many threads to follow! And I thought we are not making final decision until Fri ... My head is spinning right now ...

OK, for my pea-sized brain, I will handle one meet at a time. I'll be at Starbucks this Sat @ 1700. (I'd better since I started the thread ...)

This will be the last presence of my car with an Ontario license ... I'm getting new AB plates next Mon (fingers crossed) & returning my ON plates when I go back for vacation.

i'm in for about an hour or so. i'll be there at 5 or a hair afterwards (i hate being early).

Do something different...be early. As you know, time can always be changed.

i was on time for everything for 25 years. what i've learned is, no one is ever on time. so be 10 minutes late.

OK, suit yourself. If you do miss something, don't be upset. I guess that is easy for me to say, cause I am a 1000 k's away.

Happy to say that 5 of the nine that voted showed up today, pr5owner, alcoholiday, Orange, 91dx and myself. Next meet I guess will be the 5th, mb a different location if its too cold?

defintely need more space if there's any more than 5 cars. the 5th is at mcmahon so no problems for space.

it was fun. too bad it's so cold today.

but now i know which short shift i want. :)

Sorry guys, i was xmas shopping and it's gotta be done. Consequences would be severe. Hope it was good and i'm in for Jan at macmahon. I still need thoughts on white multi spoke rally style rims please give suggestions and where to get prices at from your experiences good and bad?!

Glad to have met you guys. That was my first meet and it was pretty good, except it was too cold and my driver's lock froze since I just washed my car...oops. See ya'll at macmahon on the 5th.

It's great meeting some of you for the first time!

I was just doing some Christmas shopping on the weekend at Chinook. I'm thinking if we meet at off hours (e.g. close to 6pm on Sunday), the underground parking there can be a nice place?! (Yes, I'm a whimp, but too cold / windy is just no fun hanging outside ...)

I'll come on Jan 5 if it's not too cold ...

Well, it's much harder coming into a group than trying to start one cause everyone knows each other and your left out in the cold. It's not that they don't like me, it's just that everyone seems to not need someone new. It's just easier when your trying to start something and not trying to fit in. I know Alco, will say "boo hoo, sob, whaaaaa".

man, i have a bad rep. oh well. i deserved that.

anyway, you'll flange up to that group in no time.
