Calgary holiday meet
OK, let's try a poll on where to meet.
Suggested location is Starbucks on Centre St close to North Hill Mazda. (Address is 919 Centre Street NW.) |
Sounds like a plan. I can make it to either one, but I voted for Saturday neways. :p

i can go to both but i work in the morning of the 21st so i guess anymeets will have to be @ 5PM or later

christmas party on the evening of the 21st so i voted for the 22nd.
however, may be able to pop by on the 21st if it ends up being that day. i don't think the party starts until 7 or 8. |

I think this meet wont be too long, maybe just for some intros and what weve all done to our cars. It would be sweet if we can get all of this sorted out and maybe get all of us to enter the WOW in March.

I like the idea of making sure that there is a set number of people attending, otherwise we will call it off. Minimum of 5-6 sound good? According to the poll, there are four of us willing to meet. We should all come on here Friday night and post a reply to re-confirm your attendance.

NW here, so the Starbucks by North Hill isnt too bad...Is there any good spot in Chinatown?

Im in Sandstone you? 16 here, yeah I know im young, but Im a car fanatic when it comes to imports. If your near we should get together sometime pr5owner. BTW Maxx Mazda, have you been messing with some people, burning out in front and trying to show off??? It better not because those are my friends.

lol yes we are...so according to the poll, we got about 7 people attending. Are you sure the best spot is that Starbucks? I was wondering if the Macdonalds on 4th Street or the one by Diefenabaker (a little far for the people in the south) but they have bigger lots. The one by dief has a Zellers and a giant parking lot. Just a thought.
Yeah, my friend told me that they were workin on their cars and a Red P5 with some parts pulled up and did a burnout in front of them...I also heard that he challenged one of my friend's P5 which was stock and got wasted 3 car lengths...interesting eh? Sorry, I'm out. X-mas party on the 21st, and I'm leaving for Whitefish, MT on Sunday... I agree with Mesoh, lets try again after Christmas.

parking lot
Who ever said "mcmahon" is one smart cookie. We need a parking lot where we can all hang out and park. Check out the cars and discuss shit. I'm not coming to hang out inside a coffee shopand talk, i could do that with my old lady not that i would but i could. i want to see the mods, and hear if they went good or bad. I vote for the worlds biggest and emptiest parking lot on sat. Snype how'd you like the xmas party?

I like the idea of movie theatre parking lots, they are usually empty near the back...I was thinking the Cineplex Odeon in the NE, its right by Sunridge, so if it gets a little chilly, we can still step inside. Hopefully it doesnt snow just yet...
