Mazda 3 Simota Intakes Preorder Special

Exclusive for this forum. Price will be valid until June 8th ONLY.

I am placing an order with Simota next week. If you want to pre-order
a Twin Charger or Carbon Fiber intake for your 3, you will save money by
paying and ordering now.

This isn't a Group Buy, so there's no minimum number we need to make.
In exchange for saving the wait is going to be about 7 weeks.

Twin Charger CAI: $ 95.00 shipped (Reg $99.00 plus $15 shipping).
Carbon Fiber SRI: $SOOOOLD OUT AGAIN!!!

Two differences: Price
The Twin Charger's Venturi-Effect design has bigger gains in the
midrange RPMs

Ok I want one(Twin Charger CAI), :) whats the mechanics? Paypal? ill be needing shipping to Hermosillo Sonora Mexico, how long its the pipe? I want Hidro-Lock Lenght :P

J-Protege June-7th-2007 03:14 AM

Really, the twin charger posts bigger gains then say, an Injen CAI? Pretty impressive for the price if that's the case.

Er, what's a Venturi effect if you don't mind explaining?

DEm June-7th-2007 08:24 AM

if you modify the diameter of the pipe in the middle section, the velocity of the "fluid" increases, causing a "sucking" effect, thus increasing the fluid flow ratio....

And since the air is a fluid... plus, this price is pretty decent, and has the custom fit for the MAF so even without the venturi thing is good

Paypal is akawest@comcast.net

The pipng goes down into the inner fender, just like the AEM & Fujitas. If you are concerned about CELs I sell the Outerwears water-repellant filter cover for $18.00.
Shipping to Mexico +$10.00, so you'd be looking at $105 and if you add the filter cover, $123

The gains are larger in the midrange RPMS, but lower above 5000pms. It depends on
what you want. The consensus is that for daily driving, people like the Simota, a lot.

Even though the pricing and design are the same as the Protege intake I sell twice as many for the 3. It is pretty popular considering I am the only vendor selling these in the U.S. that I know of.

DEm June-7th-2007 11:50 AM

hehehe, there's no rain here its dryer than Arizona, so im not concerned about water, but i want the long version (CAI) like in the picture, cause i seen some installations, with a 6 inches long....

J-Protege June-7th-2007 04:03 PM

Hmm, thanks for the info guys. Didn't even know this kind of CAI existed. Er, do you stock one for the 2006 Mustang V6?
My Protege is fine right now, but I've been shopping for a good mustang intake for a bit.

kargoboy June-7th-2007 08:35 PM

Haha, I tried getting the Mustang guys interested---Mike (macdaddy) was my tester. I even paid a bundle to be a vendor on a Mustang forum. It didn't really work out.

BTW DEm, got your payment. Can you shoot me a PM with your phone#, I need it for shipping internationally.
THis is going to be about 7-8 weeks, they are being manufactured right now.

DEm June-8th-2007 12:38 PM

mmmm so thats what the "pre-order" is all about... ok no biggie

kargoboy June-12th-2007 08:46 AM

The order has been placed (last Friday). DEm, I'll keep you posted.
Otherwise, the preorder sale is officially over.
