I'm in the Detroit area. If you wanted to come up here I could arrange a day at Kart2Kart...an indoor kart racing facility. Good way to meet people! We could get pizza and race!

I don't know if that would be fair. You've got too much experience. 
It would be great to see the race car and pick your brain about the Protege though. Hmm, how many hours is it from Chicago to Detroit?

Trust me, my 6'4" 250+ lb. frame doesn't allow me to set the world on fire in a kart!
Actually, there's one in Indianapolis, too. Stephan Johansen's. The karts are a bit faster, but they slide around more...you race on polished concrete.
Don't think I could justify driving the rally car all the way to Indy, though. That would be brutal.

hey, I'm in too. I live in Wisconsin. I think I'm the only guy with a modded Protege, besides one MP3 owner I've seen. Too many "Tuned by Stickers and clear tail lights" Civics.
