Track Event at Mid Ohio Motorsports Park

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to make sure everyone in and around Ohio knew about our track event at Mid Ohio Motorsports Park the weekend of March 31st-April 2nd.

We will have the event setup as an "open track day" on Friday and Saturday and then we are running our Redline:Time Attack! event on Sunday, April 2nd.

You can find more information about both events at the following websites:

http://redlinetrackevents.com/event_ohio.html

http://redlinetimeattack.com/index-ap.html

If you have any questions for us, please send us an email or post a message here. We hope to see a few Mazda owners at the track! :-)

I have to check into this, if my finances will allow it I am going to go. After all, I have a four month vacation without too much to do! Just have to convince my gf this is related to her getting a bathroom for herself!

Roddimus Prime,

I dont quite understand the :*rolleyes* response.....

The twisty sections of Mid Ohio will suit the excellent handling characteristics of Mazda's nicely.

i rolled my eyes because you're yet another person who just shows up and drops off your advertisement and doesn't wish to contribute to our forum. This is not your personal bilboard. This our community. We want people here who's first posts are "hey I'm a new mazda owner and looking for help"...not "hey, come out to my event" or "buy my car/part".

you came across wrong is why I rolled my eyes.

Roddimus Prime,

You're making alot of assumptions. Im an ex-Mazda owner (Protege5, Mazda6i, Mazda6s Wagon)....Our performance parts division Draxas is HEAVILY involved in supporting the Mazda vehicles equipped with the Duratec/MZR engine. We support your fellow forum members at our open track events in Southern California as well as forum members who are looking for performance upgrades for their vehicles. We supported those forum members who came to last years Mazda Fest event at Buttonwillow Raceway as the event organizer.

In the 6 years we have been organizing track events, we have forged strong relationships with numerous message boards (Honda-Tech, SoCalEvo,FocalJet.com,TeamMightyMiniz, Etc) where we offer discounts if the group shows up with 5 or more cars. Our support of the forum members goes beyond simply giving the owner of the site a check for XXX amount of money.

And in the 6 years of organizing these events and posting of events on message boards, I can count on one hand the number of complaints I have received for doing so. The vast majority of forum members appreciate the information we post regarding our events.

Maybe we will be able to work out a deal for you and other forum members in the South East when we come to Moroso Motorsports Park in Florida in 2007. :-)

Right around the corner from me!

I would come to this event but I'll be out of town that weekend.
I used to track when I was younger and lived in CA.

Roddimus, who the hell are you?? I've been on here one day and saw nothing but useless posts from you.

not trying to cause any problems...but roddimus is a head moderator of the forum. the reason he posted what he did was the fact that just dropping in and posting stuff without some kind of introduction isnt too highly appreciated. so the posts he has probably made arent useless, hes trying to watch the forums for random useless topics or ones that arent highly looked upon. sorry rodd, not trying to step into your shoes...just tryin to learn those who dont know.

Thanks for the clearification, James.

I'm surprised a Mod was posting stuff like this:

I'm new to this site but definitely not someone who came on here just looking for help. He must have some ego to think everyone here just need to ask for help. I've seen couple of his posts giving out misinformations.

Like this one:

I'm pretty sure 3rd gen rims not going to fit Mazda3's. I used to own one back in 2000.

Either case, Nikolas as just providing info to those interested in an event in OHIO. LIKE ME!
