STL - April 27th Mazda Scenic Drive
 

Hi guys, this is Ryan Scott. I'm the webmaster for rx7club.com and rx8forum.com. And soon I'll be the webmaster here, if we ever get the forum transfered to our servers.

I wanted to pass along an event I'm planning for Sunday, April 27th in St Louis. The Mid-America RX-7 Club has been having scenic drives for a long time. Basically we meet and drive down either Hwy 94 or 100 to the wineries, socialize there, and drive back. It's a great time, perfect to bring the wife or girlfriend should you so choose.

I hope some Protege guys can make it. I'd like to involve you all in the RX-7 Club events whenever possible. I'm also going to invite the Miata Club to the event. It'll be a lot of fun!

Sweet i ahve been wating for a meet in saint louis forever ill be there!!!

Figures...I'll be out of town. Oh well I'll be at the beach golfing at least. We have to have another meet later this summer.

Oh, don't worry. We always have at least 5 events a year ... I'll make sure and pass info along about them.

There will be bad ass 7's there of course :D Looks like there are a few Miata guys interested as well. Should be a great event! I'll have some Zoom Zoom stickers to give out as well. My Mazda contact just sent me a load of 'em.

How about a head count of who can come?

Not much interest .. so what's the story? Will there be some Protege guys there or not?

I'm working on getting Pro Audio to have their demo van available so that we can check it out while we wait for the group to gather before leaving.

damn, STL is too far of a drive from grandview right now. plus my car club is have a BBQ that day. have fun guys

I admire the passion, but I don't think this event would be worth driving to from Columbus OH :D

This summer-after school gets out, I'll be there (if there are any more). I want a Zoom~Zoom sticker.

Hey, looking like Saturday is going to be a rain out. So what do you all think about getting together on Sunday instead? Same time, same place ... just different day.

We've already decided, it's in the thread on rx7club.com. We're meeting in the parking lot by Hotshots on Hwy 94. Right there at 94 and Zumbehl, on the South side of 94. Hotshots/Pro Audio/Outback are all right there.

It's going to be awesome weather tomorrow, so get ready! Try low 70's and mostly sunny.

I missed you guys. I didnt read the post that you put about changing the spot to meet at and i was waiting at walmart on 94 then i went to the wal-mart on zuumbehl and gave up and when i got home i read your post about meeting at hotshots. I wish i would have got on the foruj this morning and read it and i would have been there.


Did anyone see or hear a white protege go by ?? If so it was me cause i was headed towards zumbehl wal-mart at about 1:20.

We never changed the meeting place, it was always going to be at Hotshots. Sorry you missed out ... you would have been the only Protege owner there. Pretty sad showing from the Protege guys.

We had a total of 12 cars there. I had a great time!
