p5 wreck!

Arggggg.

I wrecked my p5 last Thursday. It's in the body shop right now waiting for the insurance adjuster to come and inspect. I will post some pics as soon as I get them.

Everybody help me out on this. :(

chiproes January-26th-2003 12:13 PM

Conrad!

I'm so sorry!

What happened?? Was everyone okay?

Green Skanka January-26th-2003 02:17 PM

Um i hope you didn't hit a 92' Baretta, because my friend got t-boned last thursday and his car is also wrecked.

Hope everyone's ok.
Tell us what happened wen you post the pics.

I didnt see the guy in front of me stop so I rammed into him. He was driving a 95 Dodge RAM Van. I was going 30-35mph. Damage to my car is ugly. Nobody was hurt thank God.

Identity_X January-26th-2003 07:48 PM

sorry to hear about your accident.

as for the poll. how much will each of the options cost you ???

protegeboy78 January-27th-2003 08:29 AM

conrad i'm really sorry to hear about the crash, i'm glad you are ok.

It seems like it might be a good idea to replace the old parts with aftermarket ones cause those don't tend to cost a lot more than old ones and if you want a body kit any way this way you aren't spending money on a the oem parts then paying all that money again for aftermarket ones.

let us know what is up, take care and can't wait to see you again since i'm moving to IL :) :) i look forward to hangin out again with you and other great IL people i met

This happened to me this summer. Aftermarket parts would be nice but, good luck talking your insurance company or the shop into doing this, usually they won't do it. If you can pull it off though, go for aftermarket.

speedypt January-27th-2003 04:57 PM

Conrad...my sympathy.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I did that last April, remember?

If the cost of the aftermarket parts is equal to or less than the originals, and the body shop is cooperative, there is NO REASON you can't have the parts you want put onto the car.

I hope the repair process goes smoothly. Is Kory going to do the repairs for you?

Regards,

Pete

Sorry to hear about it Conrad. If everyone was okay, I guess the next question is: Where the cable ties damaged that the tree cop made you put on last summer to hold your front plate on?

chitownmp3 January-29th-2003 09:29 PM

I wasnt going to post this but, on sat. jan 18.I too wrecked my mp3. Everyone is o.k. the ole mp3 had 2800 bones worth of damage. The reason I did post is ...I drove it home tonight ,wow,

Good grief, Kory...glad you're okay, and that your car is, too.

And ditto what Pat said: Everybody drive safely!!!

speedypt January-30th-2003 09:28 AM

Okay...I NEED to see some pics.

I guess pics are the only way to see how bad each of the accidents were.

Lets see...Dale, Pete, Conrad, Kory....that's a lot of bent Proteges.

Guess it's the "in" thing to do? Yikes!

Regards,

Pete
