Ohio Meet number 2
 

Hey ohio pro folks. we had discussed setting up another meet in Mid-August. And well....its just about Mid-August. Do we have any plans? Im thinking we could probably do something similar to last time, but if anyone has any better ideas, please let me know. looking forward to showing off my car :D

Here is some Info on meet number 2:
Meeting at 1 pm on Saturday August 23rd at Ault Park in Cincinnati, 3600 Observatory Ave. Then some of the people are cruising up to Beavercreek (Dayton) for Loginology's all makes and models meet. His meet is at 7pm.

I didn't make it to the last meet, but I'd love to be at the second one. I just need to know well in advance to make plans. I only heard praises for the first one, so I'm definitely in on a second!

Im down, I will be down in West Virginia from August 14th through the 21st however. I will be there depending on the date!

And yes, the first one was awesome :p

I'm in, as long as it's by the end of this month. I start a 6-month co-op in September and I won't be in Ohio. :eek:

MOTORSPORTCONNECT.COM is having a cruise-in on August 23rd in Dayton, OH.

If I can get any of you to come out, that would be great! My Protege will be out there, as long as one other (he's not a member). I'll also be bringing the new Probe I'm getting tomorrow!

I'd love to see a few more protege's out there! It's from 7:00 to 12:00am August 23rd in Beavercreek OH. If we can get a few proteges out, I'll be sure to reserve the lots so we'll be all in the same area.

Hey guys,

I'm up for another meet. The first was a blast, and the second will be even better!! I am good any weekend except the weekend of Aug. 30th. That weekend there is going to be meet of all meets in North Carolina. I am almost 99% sure I am going. So if anybody else wants to go down there with me, just PM me and we can make plans. But, I am ready for another Ohio meet too!

How's Saturday that 23rd work for people? I know its kinda short notice, but its seeming to be the only good day availible to people. Does this work?

Hopefully we can get more than last time, even though that was a great turnout! We might need to start PM'ing people that came out before and making sure they know about this thread!

You guys should plan it for at our Cruise in. We may have a few vendors on scene, are a local radio station will be on the scene also. Since I'm a protege owner and co-founder of the site, it would be great to have the support of fellow protege owners.

We could meet earlier in the day (say 1 - 2 pm) and then those that want to cruise in can do so as a group.

I really like this idea nate!

Guess that leaves the big question: where? If people want to drive down to Cincinnati, I can look for a place around here to meet. Another city, someone else would have to take charge of finding a location.

Dayton!

The only problem with dayton is that it is not exactly central to everybody. i know last time we got a couple from mansfield, as well as me, from cleveland, there were also about 5 of the guys who lived in columbus. I'd be fine with dayton, it doesnt matter where i go to, i like to drive anyway!

we need some other opinions! Come on guys, give us your thoughts.

School starts for me Aug 20, so as long as there is no bullshit to do Aug 23, I will come. Just need a confirmed date in advance to ask off work. I'm fine driving to Columbus, Cleveland is out of the question, Dayton would work, too. Finding a place here in Cincinnati isn't bad either, if Nate can find a good locale ;)

August 23rd in Dayton sounds like a decent idea. Loginology, the really nice thing about our first meet in Columbus was the fact that a lot of very VERY nice people came out. We didnt have anything scheduled to do and we all just kinda sat back relaxed and had a good time. I think people are just kinda scared this could turn into another Carlisle(sp). Our meet wasn't huge but it wasn't small either, it seemed everybody knew each other right on the spot, it was rather odd actually. I digress, I think the 23rd is a great date for a meet and I will be attending the cruise to Dayton. Maybe we should work on something else? I dunno... Im pretty open, I just need to know two weeks in advance.

DaveB, Nelson was bad ass. The track isnt that great but it was extremely fun to just go balls out on a road course.
