I live in Brooklyn Park, Usually I go cruising down University Ave in the Summer, I work at Morries and there are about 5 of us with Pro's and P5's so we are always looking for something to do.
Maybe Pro Kart?

Well I've got two pro's to meet with (though my wife most likely wouldn't show ) Anway I'd be up for a meet for sure once the weather warmed up. It'd be cool to get some MS and MP3 people going too. Anyone know about national meets? One thing I did like about the countour site was that they did ahve regular meets and a nice number of people showed up. National meets are a great excuse for road trips. Anway shout out some ideas. In the summer University Ave in St. Paul is a pretty cool area to scope out nice cars and such but I'm unsure of the other places in the area.

[QUOTE]OH, in august we could all road trip up to bemiji to watch the ojibwe forest pro rally, whjich I will be going to anyways. we can watch Eric rally in his MP3

Sounds like a Protege Road trip. Do you know when the dates and times are? I'd like to go to a Rally Race adn see what its like. Anyway I've done the University thing to check out the muscle cars and laugh at soem of the wanna be's. However, It's also cool to see some of the real serious tuners, there are some car fanatics out there. Anyway when anyone gets a notion to just anounce a meet. BTW what is Prokart?

ProKart

ProKart is an indoor go-kart track, they have 3 locations. It's fun, they can get up to 35mph, it's a bit of a work out. It costs about $15-$18 depending if you are a member.

Lets go!!!!!

Whats up kids! Say I think a bunch of us should get together,
ProKart would be a good idea.

By the way I have two P5s, one is yellow with a bunch of junk
done to it, and the blue one is robo-stock.

MN

I got an 03 ES and would love to meet with everyone to discuss mods, group buys, and find out if any of us can get any deals on extras for our cars. I'd be game for just about anything.

Autocross??

What is it, and what's it all about? Is this for a someone who has never raced (outside of stoplights) before? What is the cost to participate/watch? What are the most common mods at an event like this? Would I stand a chance (AEM intake & R&B catback 'soon')? I would love to know more, the website didn't seem to have a lot on it.

Sounds cool, you'll have to keep me informed with when the events are, I'm very interested.

What about everyone else in MN. Is anyone else interested in this autocross thing?

Finally, is there anyone who works at a dealer in MN that would be able to get the front lip, rear bumper and side sills for the price that mazdastuff.com or performancebuyersclub.com is offering? I'd like to avoid the shipping costs, plus I'd need someone to paint them and install/help me install them. I know this should be another forum, but since we've got everyones attention I thought i'd ask.

I usually go to the AARRF events but not since I got my P5, They are fairly well run, it's a nice way to get some cheap track time. I road race in Chicago and they also have a high speed autocross series which I might compete in.

They are well worth doing.

I also work at Morries but I am not sure what kind of prices you have seen for the parts you are looking for.
