I don't want this topic to become another rant but I can't help noticing that there are quite a few 'attitudes' running rampant on this board. I'm not sure what their problems' are, maybe they weren't breastfed as children...

Having browsed through the various active topics in the various categories, I think I counted about 10 subjects were freakin' out about something.

Someone a few days back made an excellent comment about the need for us to stick together, since the Protege is still very much an unknown in the after-market. Coming across as a bunch of ****** (and b!tches, can't be sexist, y'know...) certainly isn't the way to encourage people to sign up.

I know that I'm a n00b & I find that some of the attitudes around are less than welcoming. I suppose that someone could say: "If you don't like it, why don't you go start your own board." To which I would reply: "Well, I suppose that I could, but that's not really the point of this message now is it?"

Is it? What do people think?

 

I agree. It truly is amazing how worked up some people can get about someone else's opinion on a matter. If you do not agree, post a reply... just be civil about it... that's the point of discussion... how else do we learn
