I pwd a Neon

This kid with his girlie was trying to race me, while I was going to the Auto store for some parts.

I looked over as we were at the light, his girl nods me like lets go!

I am like WTF!

This geek with the big exhaust and custom taillights and the infamous I have no hubcaps spoon wanabe flat black rims!

I yelled over lets get it!

They don't even look over, they both leaned forward like it was going to hit light speed, when the light turned green,

I am thinking to myself, he could beat me, he has more HP right.

**** he never had a chance. Neons are crap! I PWd him!

Good kill, but don't get too cocky and assume that all Neons are slow. The car may have been an automatic, and the automatic tranny in the Neon is a wide-ratio, slow-shifting *3*-speed. It is a complete piece of dung that sucks any hint of performance out of the car.

If you race a DOHC Neon ACR with a driver who has a hint of what he's doing, you will probably get smoked

(BTW this thread really belongs in "Racing Stories." No offense.)

None taken!

My freind has a ACR 10th ann Neon and He can drive fairly good, but can't beat me in the 1/8 mile. He is 1 tenth of a second slower than my MP3.

I have no idea what the 1/4 mile race would be , but I assume I can still hand him his ***.

I really dout it. I have raced R/T and ACRs and plain jane Neons.

They always get smoked right off the line, and catch up a bit, like my rear quarter panel and thats all they ever get.

Besides if my car is stock 140, plus 2 to 4 HP from the K& N, and we can only guess how much the CAI added. Also the weight of the 2 cars are almost identical.

I guess we are now down to gear rations and when power comes on for me and when it comes on for them.

Truth is in the races, they always lose!

Gee judging by your list of kills already, is there ANYTHING you can't beat?

Of course there are many cars that can smoke my ***!

I think I win most of races because I have been drag racing at the track for almost 10 years now. However this has been in a RX, so its not quite the same, but the princepals are

The old racers have a saying: You can have the faster car, but its not the car that ensures the win, its the driver!

That only goes so far. Unless of course you have only been racing old ladies, retards or a bunch of people who don't realize that you are racing them.

Are you for real? I have seen many higher powered cars just sit and smoke tires, while the other car is already half way down the track.

You must have gotten beat by a Neon or something. Sorry about that

I'm realistic. I don't street race my car. My manhood is not defined by how many cars I can race or how many 'kills' I can get.

You are way too mental for me. I think you missed the point of posting kills. Its not a BS story. its real life. Would you rather I post how many cars have beaten me?
I assure you it would be twice that, than I have beaten.

Just curious, if you don't race why are you reading
" Racing Stories" ?

Thats like going to gays clubs, but your straight.

geez neuromancer, until he checked you,you sure SEEMED like a racer...guess you just want a CARPET QUEEN...all show,no go?? otherwise unless you race, why worry about being FASTER...that P5 is easily competent enough to get you A to B,merge onto the highway,or just cruise around town..the only reason most people want their car faster is so they can beat someone else in a race...and beating someone in a race isnt about proving there manhood,it's about having fun!!

The only reason I would want my car faster is to make it more fun to drive. For the record, the only thing I plan to do to this car is maybe an intake. My interest in the performance side of things is only that, an interest.

A Carpet Queen? Interesting term.
