Considering a MS3 or MS6

hey guys

I'm a member in the 8 community, and had acquired a 04 rx8 about almost 2 years ago. i love my 8 but i picked the wrong year, 04's 8s are the worst ones you can buy, I'm currently getting a new clutch installed along with new shocks and springs.that's not including a new Radiator and hoses, AC condenser, Water Pump, Thermostat.

before all the mishap i went to a Mazda dealer were i was valued at 13,500 for my 8. and i owe 7k on my loan, I'm also going to have a 2k down payment.

so with that out of the way i was looking for an MS3/6 before my 8 was very unfortunate to find one. Now I'm feeling lucky and i know i will find one.

can you guys please give me a run down on what i should look for when buying an MS3/6. i have a OBD2 scanner that i take with me when i go see a car "just in case", but is there something i should be more Skeptical about? with the 8 i have a list of things, for ex.. Compression test, Milky oil, hard start.

any info would be greatly appreciated

thank you

Frank

$13,500 is what they offered you on trade for that 04 Rx8? take it take it. I work at a dealer we just bought a 2004 rx8 base at auction for $4,400 selling for $7,995 with like 110,000 miles so go for it. If I wanted a turbo again i would go for the MS6 since its awd but the MS3 has much better clutch feel and marginally better shifter feel.
