Typical Civic Driver

Thought everyone would get a kick out of this pic. Typical Honda Civic driver!! Must of thought their "H" car was so fantastic that it could drive on water. In all reality though, they were probably just testing the AEM bypass valve. Maybe this person should get a "Powered By Mercury" sticker and a Protege Club "Dumbass of the Week" award.

Yeah, we've seen this before and I give you a few reasons why I think it's a photoshop job.

1) See where the "artist" got careless with the sponge tool. On the driver's side door well just below the seat... the little blot that is EXACTLY the same as the water behind it.

2.) Physics. See all the slack in the rope. When the car hit the boat, it would continually move away from the pier until the rope was taught. In this case, the car should be in the water.

Now, before you say that the car must be hung on both sides and keeping the boat from moving out, read:

3.) Physics. If more weight is applied to something that floats, it will draw more water... If you were to put 1500 lbs on only one side of the boat, the boat would be severely tilted toward the pier. This boat is sitting straight up in the water. Perhaps there are 9 people sitting on the other side, evening out the weight?

You can't take things to seriously. I can take it as well as I dish it. And thanks for the compliment on my ol 1G. As far as it being a photoshop job, upon further review, you may be correct. I just noted the waterline indicates the boat is unaffected by the weight of he car. I too don't buy into the thought that cars weight is somehow evenly distributed.....but perhaps the boat remains even keel because the mermaids are holding it up or the salinity of the water is extra high.

Why do you guys ignorantly talk **** on all civics, or hondas? Just because its not a protege? The civic is a very nice car, as a matter fact it is nicer than a protege. Yes I agree for makinf fun of ricers, but hell as many have proven already you can rice a protege just as well as you can rice a civic. I think this **** talking on hondas just shows immaturity, and perhaps jealousy. Hell I woulda gotten a honda if I didn't see this yellow wagon I have now. The yellow and the body is the only thing that sold me, I had a vision for a Juggalo wagon so I got it. Personally the interior, power, and gas mileage are all superior to my p5, but like I said I had a Juggalo vision when I saw the yellow one. So basically all I'm saying is grow up, and don't talk **** on other cars for no good reason.

There IS a good reason.Honda sells a lot of civics,it is a good car,but they have made it so easy to modify that any youngster who wants to mod a car buys a civic.Then they think they have the best cars in the world.There is no more variation in style or performance for the civic.And they think they are cool?They **** on every other car.Every one here laughs at civics because they all look alike,and because you know what kind of jerks are driving them.
I bought a pro because its reliable,still offers a nice performance and because you almost NEVER see a damn protege with cool modifications.
I hate to do everything like other people.We are different.Aren't you proud of this??

Yeah I'm proud to roll around the Juggalo wagon. But I'm not proud if this is how a community of car owners is gonna act to normal people who just like Hondas. You cannot stereotype every Honda owner as a "ricer" or a "jerK". I have a lot of friends who have Hondas, and they have made them very nice, I said nice, not rice. You cannot just say Hondas suck, or every ricer has one. Don't be so blind, and superficial in your quest to be original, that you mistakenly take down others who just honestly like Hondas.

Hey Sweedenhouse, have a sense of humor. If the Civic is much better, why didn't you get one (Hmmmm). The point of the post was to LAUGH. No one is flaming on the car. You can put that suit of Nomex away, cause I won't blast you. But it's the attitude of the Civic drivers that we are poking fun at more than the car. It's something you would understand a bit better if you lived here and could see what it is I talk about. Sure, Honda builds reliable cars for the masses, but it seems the attitude of people here stateside is that if your not in a Civic, your drivin crap. Truth be told, they have just bought into the Honda conspiracy to take over the world. I for one believe the Mazda Protege offers more bang for the buck and obviously everyone on this post agrees since they own one. Don't think for one minute that most Civic owners in the import scene don't look down on anything not wearing an H badge. How many Proteges have you seen featured in SS, SCC, or any other import tuning mag? It's an "H" car biased scene, and I am proud I don't flock with the common Honda sheep. We can afford to have some fun at their expense.

{NO HONDA OWNERS WERE HARMED DURING THE WRITING OF THIS POST}

I think I explained why I bought my p5 in my initial post. I had a vision when I saw the yellow one for a Juggalo wagon. And yes I have a great sense of humor, I love the anti-rice websites, and what-not, the picture is very amusing, but it would been just as funny if it was some dumbass in a protege that got stuck (if that's a real pic). I just don't like the tunnel vision mentality that "Honda SUX"

How is the Civic nicer than the Protege? When I looked at a new EX the buttons to turn on the map lights got stuck, almost every car on the dealers lot had something wrong with it, and the car rolled like a boat. I almost got seasick when I took an LX for a test drive. The reason people mod those cars so much is that they aren't driveable to begin with.
